Mark Ridall President & Managing Partner

Mr. Ridall is a successful entrepreneur and inventor who has been involved in thoroughbred breeding for 20 years. He has set sales records, won multiple Iroquois Awards and been recognized as a leading breeder of stakes horses by The Thoroughbred Times. Prior to founding NewMarket, Mr. Ridall built a successful business in the field of wildlife biology, which grew into the largest of its type in the nation. Mr. Ridall is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, where he serves as a clinical pharmacology and translational research section member.

 

David Rock, Ph.D.  Vice President for Research and Development

Dr. Rock has spent more than 30 years in the animal health industry managing research organizations where he successfully developed and registered a wide range of pharmaceutical and biological products for companion and production animals. Prior to joining NewMarket, Dr. Rock served as the Director of New Product Development at Fort Dodge Animal Health (a former division of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, now Pfizer Animal Health). During his tenure at Fort Dodge, Dr. Rock managed the complete MOXIDECTIN project line across multiple species including CYDECTIN for cattle and sheep, ProHeart for canines, Quest & Quest-Plus for equines, as well as the SYNOVEX implant line and Promeris flea and tick control products.

 

Thomas Overbay, DVM  Expedite Animal Health

Dr. Overbay is well known in the animal health industry and widely recognized for his unique insights and perspectives on product and business development. In 2005, Dr. Overbay left Fort Dodge Animal Health, where he served as Business Development Director, to start his consulting company – Expedite Animal Health. Under the Expedite moniker, Dr. Overbay has consulted with emerging technology companies in both the animal and human health fields, providing technical and medical expertise. Dr. Overbay received his doctorate degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech University.

 

Mathew Pargament Executive Vice President 

Mr. Pargament has more than 20 years of experience in operations management. His involvement in this field has given Mr. Pargament experience leading marketing and market research divisions, managing extensive sales forces and running the day to day operation of complex, billion-dollar organizations.
